The Delphi Trio is dedicated to the promotion of great works of chamber music, both standard and new. This mission is realized in three different areas: the education of the youth of this generation, the expansion of the piano trio repertoire through commissioning projects, and a commitment to quality live performance.
Throughout its development, the Delphi Trio has received invaluable guidance from great musicians, and the group aspires to extend the same dedication toward the mentorship of young artists through residencies and other teaching projects. The group also seeks to promote the growth of the piano trio medium through frequent commissions and collaborations. Most importantly, however, the Delphi Trio believes strongly in the value and power of live performance. Education and exploration are achieved most effectively if performances are on a truly exceptional plane; therefore, the group’s main goal is to bring the piano trio repertoire to as many people as possible at the highest artistic level.
The Delphi Trio views trust, integrity, and honesty as the cornerstone of its ensemble, both interpersonally and musically. A devotion to finding truth in music and scores along with an innate spontaneity as an ensemble are the core of their artistic approach.
